Hi, I am Michael; my Dad says I should have been named ‘Try’…more on that later!
Last week I clocked a few thousand air miles; I’ve lost count, over three continents and half-a-dozen time zones! Sometimes I fly more than an airline pilot, but such is my job as a photojournalist. Some people envy my lifestyle, the traveling part of it, exotic destinations, first hand information on events around the globe and all that; but let me assure you it is not what it seems! I often lug heavy equipment across rough terrain in crisis situations, then there are the long haul flights and even longer waits at airports, I eat anything I get, girlfriends don’t last....the list is endless!
But what keeps me going? What keeps me grounded and connected? Who is my companion 24x 7? Who keeps me entertained? Look out for my next post! Here’s a clue.
